All Inclusive Hotel: Secrets Moxche

In order to attend any event throughout the wedding weekend, all of our guests are required to stay at this all-inclusive hotel with us due to contractual requirements. We’ve secured a discounted group rate for our wedding at Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen. The rate is periodically price-matched to remain competitive. Important Information: Our room block will be released on August 1st. After this date, discounted rates and room availability are not guaranteed. The resort has 485 rooms and may sell out. Travel FAQ Reminder: In order to attend any event throughout the wedding weekend, all of our guests are required to stay at this all-inclusive hotel with us due to contractual requirements. Our wedding will take place in beautiful Playa del Carmen, Mexico on Saturday, December 19th, 2026. Do I need a passport?Yes. A valid passport is required to travel to Mexico. Please check your expiration date well in advance of travel. Which airport should I fly into?Please book flights into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Is airport transportation included?Yes. Round-trip transportation between Cancun Airport and the resort is included for guests who book through our wedding group link. Transportation will be coordinated by our wedding travel coordinator. What if I didn't book through the group link? How do I get to the hotel?There are Ubers and taxis outside of the airport to assist. How long is the drive from the airport to the resort?The drive from Cancun Airport to Playa del Carmen typically takes 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic. What should I expect when arriving in Cancun?You will go through customs and immigration upon arrival. This can take some time, so please plan accordingly. What currency should I bring?U.S. dollars are widely accepted, but Mexican pesos may be helpful for off-resort purchases or small tips. What is the weather?December weather is warm and humid. When should I arrive?We recommend arriving at least one day before the wedding to allow time to relax and settle in. Wedding DayOur ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception.Ladies:Please wear a floor-length gown in vibrant, summery colors with a tropical resort vibe—think the elegance of a luxury getaway in Mexico. Chic florals, and rich, colorful hues are all encouraged. Please avoid yellow, cream, and ivory.Gentlemen:Please wear a suit in a light or colorful tone. Think greens, peach, beige, or light browns. Floral prints or accents are absolutely welcome! If black is your signature look, that works perfectly too.Welcome Drinks (The Night Before)Join us for all-white, beachy cocktail drinks as we kick off the wedding weekend! The location will be announced closer to the date. Wear your favorite white outfit that feels elegant, relaxed, and celebration-ready.
